The Lady Cats have a 22-point advantage with nine minutes to play in the first half over Southern Crescent (GA) at the NJCAA Region XVII Post-Season Tournament in Warner-Robins, Georgia this afternoon. The Lady Cats hold a 28-6 advantage over the Lady Tigers.
UPDATE: Lady Cats are 20 minutes to tip-off of their semi-final match with Southern Crescent (GA) in Warner-Robins, Georgia. The winner advances to the NJCAA Region XVII Championship Game to claim the region’s sole NJCAA Women’s National Championship bid. Highlighting pre-game notes for the defending regional champions: Freshman shooting guard Sierra Smith (Armuchee, GA) is recovering from a mild sprain of the right ankle. Her playing time will be limited at best for the afternoon’s elimination round match-up.
