This summer semester, the Culinary Arts Program is teaching Contemporary Cuisine (CUUL 2160). Once again, we are asking GNTC staff, students, family, or friends to participate in joining us at the Woodlee Culinary Arts facility for a private prex-fixe dinner. We are planning to serve on selected Tuesday & Thursday evenings, a limited prex-fixe dinner menu with 3 seating times. The prex-fixe menu will consist of choices of appetizers, soups, salads, entrées, and desserts at a set price. The inclusive menu price will range between $18.00 to $22.00. The reason for the cost for the meal price range is because of the menu item selections. The culinary arts program is only trying to cover its cost of the groceries being consumed. (Note: only personal check or cash will be accepted). In any case, the price will be a real bargain! We will serve three different time seating’s. The times will be at 5:00pm, 5:45pm, and 6:30pm. Each seating will be minimum of 16 patrons or a maximum of 22 patrons. These dinners are seated meal service with tableside service staff, not buffets! We are asking all guests to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to their seating times. Service will begin promptly at 5:30pm, 5:45pm, and the last seating will be 6:30pm. Reservations are required. Guests will be seated upon arrival by our Maître d’. If you care to make a reservation, you may contact Chef Greg Paulson at extension 6880. Your table will be reserved and be considered part of the 20 patrons for that service time.
Remember, the menu is àla carte with set price. Each team of students has developed, planned, prepared, and supervised their themed meal. At the conclusion of your meal, a critique survey will be presented to you. Please complete the form and submit it to Chef Greg Paulson or Chef Shannyn King, Contemporary Cuisine instructors.
