More than $10,000 in training tools, instruction from Chattanooga company
(Rock Spring, GA) – Carrier Enterprise of Chattanooga, Tennessee completes a state-of-the-art donation to help train students of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program at Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
The Tennessee company donated a touch-screen Wi-Fi thermostat and controller to GNTC this week. Carrier has donated well over $10,000 in training and equipment to the program located at the college’s Walker County Campus in Rock Spring, Georgia.
“The latest gifts are all components of the Infinity Air Conditioning System; one of Carrier’s top models to date,” said Georgia Northwestern Technical College HVAC Director Michael Meyer. “It helps us train tomorrow’s techs. And when these industry reps come in, it’s networking for my students, too. They are learning the right things and meeting the right people.”
Carrier also provides free training at its Chattanooga location showcasing the service of its products to Georgia Northwestern HVAC students. For more information on Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s HVAC program, contact program director Michael Meyer at email@example.com.
