Toys for Tots presents GNTC
With Certificate of Appreciation

Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) recently received recognition from Toys for Tots for the toy drive that was held on the campuses of GNTC during the holiday season.

Bob Evans of Toys for Tots presented Brian Thomas, GNTC Office of Student Affairs, with a certificate of appreciation.

“I’m really excited to be able to give back to the community through Toys for Tots,” said Thomas.

The Toys for Tots program was founded in 1947 as a way to collect new toys to be distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children. The program is run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and has distributed over 469 million toys to 216 million children since its founding.

“We really appreciate GNTC’s involvement in Toys for Tots,” said Evans. “It helped make a lot of kids happy.”
