GNTC’s Culinary Arts program is hosting Chef Judith Hickey of the Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland this week as part of a partnership between WIT and the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). Chef Judith is teaching GNTC Culinary students and faculty how to make traditional Irish cuisine for a reception and dinner to be held in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. In 2016 a group of GNTC Culinary Arts students studied abroad at WIT for a ten-day course in Irish food and culture. GNTC was the first college in the Technical College System of Georgia to take part in the international agreement between the Waterford Institute of Technology and the TCSG.
