Two GNTC Students Awarded Grainger Tools for Tomorrow® Scholarships

(Northwest Georgia) – Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) students Austin Hill and Stephanie Morris were both selected to receive a one-time $2,000 Grainger Tools for Tomorrow® Scholarship to be used for tuition, required fees, books, and course-specific supplies.

Through this scholarship program, Grainger offers qualified community college and technical college students financial scholarships in industrial and public safety programs. Nearly 800 students have earned scholarships since the program’s inception in 2006. In addition to financial support, Grainger provides each graduating scholarship recipient with a Westward® toolkit to help launch the student’s professional career.

The Grainger Tools for Tomorrow® scholarship program has helped technical education students across the country realize their educational goals. The scholarship was created to address the national shortage of skilled workers in manufacturing, welding, and other industrial occupations.
